COSTUMING INFO:

If you are a member of the Alahads, talk to Felicia and Lori. All other students, for all these shows you are welcome to wear whatever style of costume you prefer. For the Cornucopia Days event please be especially conservative. If you have ANY questions about your costume choice (or just want to show it off)  please bring your costume to one of the special practices.
You will be dancing ourdoors for both Cornucopia and MedFest. Please make sure your costuming is not see-through and that it will stay down in the event of wind. If you have questions please wear leggings or harem pants, and full coverage undies are required. Please bring a veil (or a coverup if you own one) to wrap over your costume when you are not performing. There is really no dressing area at Cornucopia Days, and there IS an overcrowded dressing room at MedFest.

DON'T THINK YOU HAVE COSTUMING? Tank top/sparkley top, broomstick skirt and harem pants or leggings, coin belt.... that would pass easily. Wear all your jewelry and have fun with makeup if you desire. For more costuming assistance bring what you have to any advanced class the week before the performances or come to any special practice with whatever you do have and we will finish up your look.

GENERAL -- Wear sunscreen at all performances. We are dancing on grass Fri & Sat at Cornucopia Days so shoes aren't required (they ARE required for the Sunday parade).

Questions? ASK me!!!!!

PARADE INFO

PARADE  --- For the parade please bring along anyone you want. They do NOT have to be dancers, but they DO have to be willing to dress up. Have them wear a swimsuit or plain tank top and shorts (this is just a foundation for us to put things over. They won't have to wear just a swimsuit in public!) and meet at the dressing area behind the PLAZA stage (NOT the Gazebo stage) on Sunday 11am-11:45. You will probably have to park and walk in because they close the parade route. Remember to wear all your jewelry and have fun with your make-up if desired).

After we are all dressed we walk over to (or if you didn't need dressing help, we will all meet up) at NOON at about Saar & 4th (this is one block off Willis St running parallel). We will learn the easy easy easy routine for the parade while we wait there. You are probably going to have quite a bit of time to kill and will be able to wander around the event for a little bit after learning the dance but we have to check in at noon.

If you HAVE to be later please know it gets harder and harder to find parking and the parade route is BLOCKED so you have to walk in. You still need to learn the little EASY routine and the parade starts moving at 2pm. The entire route is really only about five blocks.
