AARF Mission:
Animal Aid & Rescue Foundation is dedicated to supporting and
promoting the preservation and well-being of all animals, wherever the
need exists.
AARF’s focus is to be a constant and powerful source of information and
assistance for the public. We provide continued support though our
“Angel Fund” where we help with medical expenses when people cannot
cover them for their animals. We have also created alliances with local
pet stores and distributors who provide dog food donations that we
distribute to those in need. Through the Foundation, individuals and
rescue groups will find assistance in their efforts and support for
their causes.
In the past couple of years we have built relationships with rural
rescues in the south to bring dogs up to the northwest that would
otherwise be euthanized. AARF provides food and medical care and our
amazing fosters give them love and support until we can find the perfect
forever home for them. Since 80% of the dogs in these rural shelters
are euthanized, we have put in place a very low cost spay/neuter
program targeting people that surrender dogs and puppies to the shelter
as well as anyone else that needs help with this.
We believe that in working with rescue animals, we will not only save
lives but also discover the depth of compassion within ourselves.
Sharing that compassion with friends and family is what helps build our
community.

ZHBS Mission:
Zazu's House Bird Sanctuary wants to give each bird their own little paradise. No entertaining or
performing on command. We offer the choice to live cage free, and the
chance to fly.
Our passion is to allow them to be the unique and magnificent creatures
that they are. To let them be themselves and explore in a safe
environment.
Our mission is to make this their last home. No bird will be bought or
sold. We believe Macaws are best with other macaws. We will work with
any parrot owner to find and be the final home.
Zazu’s House operates 100% with an all-volunteer staff and NO
administrative salaries or paid directors. When you donate, you can be
sure that 100% of the money you give will go directly towards one of the
following:
•Veterinary expenses, medical care, health maintenance
•Feed – e.g. fresh food, exotic bird seed and pellets, nuts, toys
•Expansion and maintenance of flight centers
•Utility costs (more than $2000/month just for propane costs)
