Saqra's Comment: I have long called Jamilla "the dancer of a generation" and first sponsored her in workshop when she was 16 years old, back in the 90s. She is a tremendous instructor who will leave you inspired and sweaty.

Fatima Al Wahid - BIO

Vendor, instructor, Coach, Judge,Sponsor. Born in Africa, Fatima caries dance & music in her heart, having been introduce to the Beauty of the Dance, since childhood which she brings to life in her instructing & performing. Fatima travels the world to study & inspire as she teaches. She has a treasure trove of Choreographies, she freely shares. Heartfelt feeling & knowledge of Egyptian Dance. Sacramento is Home to Fatima's Dance Studio.

Saqra's Comment: Fatima is a remarkable earthy dancer and performs with the soul of baladi. Her way of taking an infinite number of combinations and morphing them to be both emotionally fresh and to work with different pieces of music is something I have studied from her for many years. I have NEVER regretted taking a workshop with this sassy, powerful, knowledgable dancer.
