COSTUME COMPETITION INFO Our theme this year is "Key West." The city of Key West is on the southern tip of Florida. This rowdy coastal town is a popular stop for Carribean cruise ships, and is known for their annual Fantasy Festival, chickens, and crazy fun. A simple Google search should give you some ideas. Remember that costumes are judged by the audience and that a weird twist or a pun can often beat out an elaborate costuming attempt. You will be given a chance to explain your costume to the audience before judging. Prizes range from several $50 gift certificates to Saqra's shop, to CDs, to cool theme or outright strange miscellaneous items - usually appropriate for men or women, and competition categories are based on what kind and the number of entries we get that night... we have had Men's, Women's, Couples, Kids, Group Categories, or the generic Everybody category. Use your imagination! |
- EASY DIRECTIONS TO JIMMY T'S FROM I-5:
* I-405 N to Exit 2 SOUTH on Hwy 167 (towards Kent/Auburn)
* Hwy 167 to second Exit (212th St)
* Left on 212th -- go up and over the hill
* Right on 108th Ave SE (5th traffic light from the exit) -- it will zigzag and become 104th
* 1.5 miles and Jimmy T's will be on your right
