• 9:30-10:30 Workshop - Imei (WA) - Yoga for Belly Dancers of all Ages - $20 pre-reg/$25 at door -Imei is a nurse psychotherapist and Kripalu yoga instructor who experienced love at first sight with Middle Eastern dance. An emerging professional bellydancer, Imei joins you in the quest for dance perfection with joyful bliss, whilst avoiding creaky bones and aching muscles. Imei dances at area restaurants, private parties, special occasions, stage shows, and corporate events, and uses her yoga practice to enhance the presentation of props, delicious backbends, and extention. Imei has designed yoga classes for bellydancers, as well as created her signature, "Belly Yoga Flow". For more information about Imei, please see her website, www.dreamyogaanddance.com. CLASS DESCRIPTION: This morning practice is designed for all ages levels and all levels of dance, emphasizing gentle stretching, breathwork, and counterbalances to get you ready to roll for the day. We will use visualization, meditation, and gentle motion, while modifying any posture to your body's individual challenges. See how yoga can positively influence your dance for a lifetime. If you have a yoga mat, please bring it. Otherwise, a possible substitute is a bathmat with a sticky side. Please bring a bathsized towel, bottled water, and wear stretchy exercise clothing. No bellydance apparel needed.

• 3:00- 4:00 Workshop - Aradia (NV) - Spicy Traveling Steps for large and small venues - $20 pre-reg/$25 at door -
• 4:45-5:45 Workshop - Rom Deussen (UT) - Romani Culture and Ettiquette - $20 pre-reg/$25 at door -
• 6:15-7:15 Workshop - Mezdulene (OR) - Mez-Merizing Hands & Arms - $20 pre-reg/$25 at door - Mezdulene is the owner/publisher/editor of Jareeda.  Mezdulene has been dancing for over 25 years and has experienced tremendous personal growth and healing through the dance. The one constant in her life during challenging and painful times, in the past many years, has been the dance and the supportive friends she has made through the dance. She is a performer, instructor, seminar teacher and choreographer and the director of Mystical Oasis Dance Company. She has several instructional videos available.
  
  In addition to dancing, Mezdulene is also an ordained, non-denominational minister who loves to perform weddings. She is also an Oregon state licensed massage therapist, Reiki master, shaman and author. She is happily married to Don Reed, has a 16 year old son, Logan, a 30 year old daughter, Avena, a son-in-law, Yashveer and her newest family member, grandson, Aayush

• 1-2:30 Workshop - Leslie Rosen (WA - Raqs Serpentine/Pyrosutra) - Candle Dancing - $25 pre-reg/$30 at door - Learn some of the fundamentals of combining the undulations of the flame with the undulations of the body; Archetypal poses, movements combinations and perform a short choreography. -- Bio:  Leslie's imagination was captured by bellydance in 1995 and she hasn't been able to escape yet! As a massage therapist and yoga practitioner her classes are designed with your bodies health and vitality in mind. She creates a warm, fun, community environment that is a wonderful blend of both the silly and sacred. Her lifelong passion for the circus led her to fire performance in 2001. She was honored with the opportunity to perform for the cast of Cirque du Soleil at the end of  the tour party for Vareki summer of 2005. She has created many large scale fire performances for everyone from Bumbershoot to Burning man.  Leslie can be seen in performance with her bellydance troupe Raqs Serpentine and fire performance troupe Pyrosutra.
